Happy Birthday

I made another card this evening. This one is for my good friend Clare whose birthday is Sunday. She is a bit younger than me (about 9 years actually!) and is really good fun and likes a giggle so I thought this Monique stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie would be  perfect. This is the first time I have used this stamp and I think it is really cool which is why I have done a really simple layout to let the stamp do the talking! Entered into Paper Sundaes challenge #24.

I coloured her with my Promarkers and added lots of stickles to her outfit and her eyeshadow. You can really see the stickles in the piccie below!

Glitzy huh?!

Anyone for Anya

Happy Tuesday all!

This week I am entering the Anyone for Anya challenge sketch #11 with this card. I have made it for a lovely lady at my place of work who comes in each day to make us tea and coffee and do some filing and then she goes off to do some midday supervising. Her birthday is Friday and I really hope she likes this card.

The stamp is from CC Designs Spring collection - isn't she pretty sitting there in her lovely cherry t-shirt?! I finished this card with a flower with a little bit of stickles on it and a few clear gems.

Happy Birthday Dad

Hello again - hope you are all having a good sunday - even though England were destroyed in the World Cup! It's been a gorgeous day today so I have been out and about and have only done one card this evening.

This card is for my father in law whose Birthday is Thursday. He lives in Hull so this card will be on it's way in the post in the morning. I coloured him with Promarkers and the papers are from DCWV Natural stack. There are some truly gorgeous papers in this stack. I just had to add some ribbon as I only bought this ribbon punch today and I couldn't wait to use it lol. A couple of gems and a little bit of stickles on the hat and wine to finish off.

Entered into Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge #31 sketch and

Magnum & Nikki

Morning bloggers - a day earlier than normal for me but I will be posting tomorrow too! I made these 2 cards on Thursday but haven't had the chance to post them until now.

The first one is for my BIL. This cute stamp is called Magnum from ladybug crafts ink and he comes with this cake add on. You can also buy more add ons where you get a balloon, a can of tuna, a present and lots of other fun stuff so he's extremely versatile as well as been very cute! I coloured him with my Promarkers and have used papers from Daisy and Dandelions Picnic Patch collection.

This next card is for a dear friend of mine who's birthday is tomorrow. Her husband is lovely and has booked her in for a massage today and they are going out for lunch tomorrow - sweet.
The card is made with a stamp also from Ladybug crafts ink. She's a new one and she's called Make a Wish Nikki. I coloured her with Promarkers and have used papers from the Queen Bee pad by Pink Paislee, my nesties and some gems to finish.

Thanks for buzzin by today and please stop by tomorrow as I have more cards to make and post!

Brother

Post 2 of 3

This is a really simple card. I am finding it quite difficult to do men cards right now - I seem to have done loads what with Father's Day and all. Can't wait to do some girlie cards!

This is for a friend at work to give to her brother. I'm not sure she'll like it but we'll see tomorrow!
The paper is from It's a Mans World from Papermania and the letters are loopy lou stickers in brown. A little bit of ric-rac and a single gem to finish off.

Baby Girl

Hello all, I made this card yesterday but didn't get the chance to post it because I had loads to do and then I went out last night. I have been suffering slightly today! I still felt drunk when I woke up this morning!!

Anyhow, here's the card

The pink papers are from g.c.d. studios Rose Colored Glasses stack. I used a little miri card and my nesties and coloured the Forever Friends image with my Promarkers. The flowers were found in a book shop! They had a small craft section and these flowers were only £1 for about 30. I then added some pink ribbon and a little metal charm to finish off.

Congratulations!

My 2nd post of the day!

I don't usually post during the week and I'm posting twice in one day!

We have a temporary receptionist at work and she was interviewed today for a permanent post within our Academy and was offered the job! I have made this card (which is A5 size) so that us girlies in the office can all sign it and give it to her tomorrow to say well done!

I think my colouring is getting a bit better - what do you think?
I used some pretty pink papers from the Rose Coloured Glasses collection pack which is another pack from g.c.d. studios. I just love their papers - gorgeous! The gold foil paper is Anita's and the ribbon, gems and flower are all from my stash.

Fathers Day

Post no. 3

This card is for my husband for father's day. I have entered this card into the Card Patterns sketch #68 challenge. I have used some more of the yummy papers from the Paris Nights pad from g.c.d.studios. I love love love that paper pad! The velvet ribbon and gems and stick on letters are all from my stash.

You can't really tell from the picture but the black and white patterned paper is flocked - it's gorgeous!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Fathers Day

Post no. 2

Another Fathers Day card to share.

This is made using papers from Paris Nights collection pack from g.c.d. studios. This pack is gorgeous with a capital G!! Some of the papers are flocked and some are shimmery. Beautiful! I typed up the verse in word.  I added glossy accents to the wine glasses and it wasn't quite dry when I took the pic as you can see! A few gems, and a button to finish.

Entered into a few challenges named below.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge #116 Anything but square (I have gone for an easel card) and
Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge #30 although I realised I haven't included a stamp but hopefully they'll let me off!!

Fathers Day

Hello fellow bloggers, you all having a good Sunday?

Today I'm sharing some more fathers day cards with you. This one is entered into Mojo Monday #142 which has an 8pm deadline so I made it with just hours to spare! I have used papers from DCWV Linen Closet pad and Picnic Patch from Daisy & Dandelion. Ribbon and gems are from my stash and dad is done with loopy lou stickers from doodlebug. The wine glasses are done with a punch from Dovecraft.

It looks like this card is uneven with the brown below the white scallop but I have measured it like 3 times and its perfect. I think it's an illusion from the diagonal stripes!!

New Home Card

Happy Sunday! OMG what was with all that rain yesterday?? I was driving back from the East Coast after visiting my mum for the day. It was about 10.30ish pm and the heavens opened BIG time! I had to slow down to about 20mph in a 60mph area because you could barely see the white lines in the road!! I haven't seen rain like that in a very long time. The lightning was awesome too (although I was slightly worried about the car getting struck). I was glad when we finally arrived home safely.

Anyway, here is a new home card that I made today. The papers are from the Linen Closet stack by DCWV which has some gorgeous papers in it. The stamp is coloured with Promarkers as usual and a few gems finished it off. This card is entered into Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge #29.

Lets hope summer returns soon!

Crafty Daughter

Last post of the day I promise! These next 2 cards are made by my lovely daughter Chloe (12). We have been making cards together today and I let her use my precious Promarkers! I think she's done a really good job.
I drew her a quick and easy sketch for this card.
This next one is all her own work, no sketch to work from, pure imagination. I like it.
Chloe in action!

Well as Bugs Bunny says - That's all Folks!!

This card is for Anyone for Anya sketch #10 and I have made it for my lovely sister who is 33 later this month. (Hope she doesn't check out my blog too often and spot this!)
I have cololured Shine Anya with Promarkers and used papers from the Papermania Henbury Lane paper pack. The flowers were white and I coloured them with a Promarker to match the papers and then added some little pearls to finish off.
