Forever Friends

I haven't entered many cards into challenge blogs for a while - until this last week and now I've gone a bit challenge crazy!! This card is for the Forever Friends challenge blog and the challenge was to follow a sketch.

I hadn't coloured a FF bear for a long time and I couldn't remember which colours I used in the past! I went with Oatmeal, caramel, peach and vanilla. I think he looks quite good! I used some dotty papers I've had forever! and some kraft CS from SU. I punched some co-ordinating flowers and stuck some teeny gems in the centres and stamped a sentiment to finish.

Thanks for looking.

Happy Birthday Sis x

This card and box is for my sister who's birthday is 15th March. She doesn't check out my blog (I hope!) so it's OK to show you this now!

I used SU card, patterned paper and Happy Birthday stamp. The rest is from my stash (which never seems to go down lol).

It took a while to stick on all the gems individually but I think it was worth it.

Thanks for looking

Not quite the same!

Hello!

Yesterday was two work colleagues birthdays. They work in the same office too so it was full of cards!

I made these two cards using the same papers but changed the design slightly .

I love these cute little 4" cards.

Last 3 Birthday cards

Well, here are the final 3 cards from my selection of 10 for a friend.

The first 2 cards are made using Nikki stamps from Ladybug Crafts Ink. I love these stamps.

Close up of lovely Nikki.

Simple layering and a few gems along with a die cut strip add interest to this card.

This is my attempt at making a card without a stamp. I don't do too many of them but I think this turned out OK.

Even more Birthday cards!

Evening bloggers. Here are the next 3 cards.

My good friend Laura gave me this die cut shape a while ago and I based this card around it (being purple!)
I get a lot of inspiration from Julie's blog. Her cards are amazing and are very much CAS which is my preferred style.

This card is made using some simple strips of green card with some small flower outline stickers, a simple sentiment sticker and some ribbon.

This card is suitable for a male and, again, is very simple. The cat stamp is coloured with Promarkers as usual and was matted onto some dotty blue and white paper. A little white ribbon adds a little interest but is not too girly :)

I have just 3 cards left now which I will post tomorrow.

Forever Friends Birthday Card

Post 2  for today.

This card is for my BIL whose birthday is next weekend. Entered into Card Patterns sketch #71. I was going to enter into FF too but forgot to put the faux stitching on doh!! I went to Manchester yesterday with my husband to fetch his company car for his new job and we also visited the Trafford Centre and then an Arts & Crafts shop which took ages to find! I bought a little easel to stand my cards on to photograph which you can just see the bottom of in this pic.

I use Promarkers in Cinnamon, Tan & Putty for FF bears and blush for the nose bit and a teeny dot of Cerise on the cheeks and ears. It's really hard to photograph cards with mirri card because I can always see a bit of myself in the picture!
A couple of buttons with some silver twine to finish.

Happy Birthday

I made another card this evening. This one is for my good friend Clare whose birthday is Sunday. She is a bit younger than me (about 9 years actually!) and is really good fun and likes a giggle so I thought this Monique stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie would be  perfect. This is the first time I have used this stamp and I think it is really cool which is why I have done a really simple layout to let the stamp do the talking! Entered into Paper Sundaes challenge #24.

I coloured her with my Promarkers and added lots of stickles to her outfit and her eyeshadow. You can really see the stickles in the piccie below!

Glitzy huh?!

Anyone for Anya

Happy Tuesday all!

This week I am entering the Anyone for Anya challenge sketch #11 with this card. I have made it for a lovely lady at my place of work who comes in each day to make us tea and coffee and do some filing and then she goes off to do some midday supervising. Her birthday is Friday and I really hope she likes this card.

The stamp is from CC Designs Spring collection - isn't she pretty sitting there in her lovely cherry t-shirt?! I finished this card with a flower with a little bit of stickles on it and a few clear gems.

Happy Birthday Dad

Hello again - hope you are all having a good sunday - even though England were destroyed in the World Cup! It's been a gorgeous day today so I have been out and about and have only done one card this evening.

This card is for my father in law whose Birthday is Thursday. He lives in Hull so this card will be on it's way in the post in the morning. I coloured him with Promarkers and the papers are from DCWV Natural stack. There are some truly gorgeous papers in this stack. I just had to add some ribbon as I only bought this ribbon punch today and I couldn't wait to use it lol. A couple of gems and a little bit of stickles on the hat and wine to finish off.

Entered into Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge #31 sketch and

Magnum & Nikki

Morning bloggers - a day earlier than normal for me but I will be posting tomorrow too! I made these 2 cards on Thursday but haven't had the chance to post them until now.

The first one is for my BIL. This cute stamp is called Magnum from ladybug crafts ink and he comes with this cake add on. You can also buy more add ons where you get a balloon, a can of tuna, a present and lots of other fun stuff so he's extremely versatile as well as been very cute! I coloured him with my Promarkers and have used papers from Daisy and Dandelions Picnic Patch collection.

This next card is for a dear friend of mine who's birthday is tomorrow. Her husband is lovely and has booked her in for a massage today and they are going out for lunch tomorrow - sweet.
The card is made with a stamp also from Ladybug crafts ink. She's a new one and she's called Make a Wish Nikki. I coloured her with Promarkers and have used papers from the Queen Bee pad by Pink Paislee, my nesties and some gems to finish.

Thanks for buzzin by today and please stop by tomorrow as I have more cards to make and post!

The image is 'Catch a Falling Star' by Leanne Ellis for Sugar Nellie and she's coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from docrafts 'Hawthorn & Bramble' paper pack. I added some gems and some stickles to the star to finish off.

Post 4 of 4!

Well, this is my final post for today. As you can see I have been a busy buzzy bee again this week! I have a lot of friends at work that keep requesting cards from me! I still have another 9 cards to make, but I only have one more week at work and then I have a week off so I can catch up then!

This final card is for one of my friends best friend. Fingers crossed she'll like it. I would like to enter this for Anyone for Anya Challenge - Double Trouble 23.5.10 and Sketch Saturday week #104 as I followed their sketch (I put the sentiment in a different place but I hope that's OK?).

Well that's me done for the day! Thank you to those who have looked at all 4 of my posts ... hope it wasn't too tedious!

Buzzy hugs, Donna x

Post 3 of 4!

This next card was a request and the recipient has a love of cats. This is my favourite card of all the ones that I made today. What do you think?

I would like this to be entered into Penny Black Saturday Challenge #102 lots of dots, Polka Doodle week 20 challenge Something for mum and also Friday Sketchers sketch #103 as this is the sketch I followed.

I added stickles to all the bubbles but it doesn't show up very well in the piccie.

Phew, nearly there - just one more post to go!
