This baby boy card was made using a stamp from the Baby Baby set from LCI. I have a few baby stamps now but I couldn't resist this set cos it's just so damn cute!
The base card is made from SU card and the stripey glittery card is from a gcd stack that I've had a while but the colours matched perfectly :)
I added some glitter to the blanket and a little charm and a few gems to finish off.
This is my entry for week 6 of the Less is More challenge blog. It is the first time I have made a one layer card but I really like it - even if I do say so myself!!
All the hearts are chocoloate brown (except the red one obviously lol!) even though they look black in the picture.
This card is not for my mum, but was made for a friends mum. I am entering this into LCI Challenge for 'Spring Colours' and also into Inspirational Card Sketches as I followed their sketch as I had a bit of a mind blank!
I might use this sketch again as it's really versatile.
Thanks for looking.
P.S. Too late for the LCI Challenge :((( Closed this morning at 9am :(((
Over at Pink Gem, they are giving away one of the new A6 size stamp sets to celebrate the new release. Display the pic from the side bar on your blog and link back to Pink Gem to be in with a chance of winning.
Pop back tomorrow for a look at my 'Less is More' entry. (I haven't taken the pics yet!)
This is my entry for the Less is More challenge blog week 5 - pastel colours. This card is for a friend at work. I have used some paper from the Sweet Owl pad which I absolutely adore! I was literally stroking it when I got it lol. My daughter thought I'd gone bonkers!
I used one of the glittered sheets which you can make out in the pic below and I cut the owl out from another one of the sheets and then added a single gem to the sentiment to finish off.
I am trying to be more creative and not just make cards. I've done a few boxes now so thought I would have a go at little bags. I got the design from here but I had to change the measurements slightly as it's Amercian sizes on the tutorial. I wish there were more tutorials with English sizes!
Each bag contains 5 chocolate eggs and 3 mini packs of loveheart sweets
These were made using Stampin Up products (what else?!!) except for the ribbon which is some I had from a while ago.
I made this card for my mum on Sunday ready for her birthday next Monday (7th March). When I looked at the Totally Ladybug Tuesday Challenge for this week it was faux stitching and they've changed their rules so that you can use any stamps and not just LCI stamps so this card fits perfectly into this challenge!
So here's the card
I've used Stampin Up card on a Papermania Kraft card blank and the swirly flowery stamps are by Marion Emberson. The 'Just for you' is a Stampin Up stamp which I masked the bottom off (where it says 'so you don't have to share'). I stamped it with versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. A couple of Prima flowers and some gems to finish off.
Hi, my name is Donna and I started making cards around May 2009. I have 4 children, a loving husband and a full time job in a secondary school. Luckily I only work term time so get chance to make cards during the holidays! I had a craft room built (June/July 2011) so I can craft to my hearts content ... lucky me :))
