Birthday Banner

I made this card for my brother in law a few weeks back and thought I would share it with you today.

I have seen a fair few cards recently with bunting on and wanted to have a go. I decided to do it slightly different by not making triangles. It took quite a while making those little shapes but I think it was worth it - and BIL liked the card so that's good!

The 'string' is actually Twistel from making memories which is a paper yarn. I stuck that on to the base first and then raised all the blue banner bits on dimensionals.

Thanks for looking.

Happy Birthday Pops!

Hello all.

It's my dad's birthday today and also my step-brothers too!

This is the card I made for my pops
 Lovely and simple!
A close up of those cute little owls.

This is the card I made for my step-brother. I bought the sentiment stamp from fellow blogger and friend Victoria - a great Stampin Up demonstrator based in Nottingham. So if you need any supplies!

I made another card with this stamp for my niece which you'll see soon.

Thanks for looking.

Birthday Bentley

This next card was requested from another work friend. She asked for a card with a Bentley for her husbands birthday. I found this picture by doing a google search and was instantly drawn to it because of the lovely colours. They go so well with these papers from The Natural Stack and The Linen Closet from DCWV.
I added some copper/brown ribbon and a computer generated sentiment.

Entered into Get sketchy #46

Thanks for lookin, Donna x
