Best Wishes

One of my work colleagues is having a birthday the week after next and I am trying to get ahead of myself a bit so I have made her this card ready for the big day!

I love the rose paper (I think it was from Hobbycraft) and only have a bit left now but the stampin up sahara sand cardstock goes perfectly with it! The stamped image is from Marion Emberson and I have just sponged a bit of sahara sand ink around it. The best wishes sentiment is a Penny Black stamp.

Thanks for looking.

Pink n Orange

A work colleague has asked me to make a selection of cards for her - mainly female with just one male. I made a selection of female cards for her using pinks and oranges as I think they go lovely together.

Great sentiment stamp from Stampin Up!

I'll be back tomorrow with a male card.

Thanks for looking.

A card at last!

I made this card for my friend Clare whose birthday was yesterday, 4th July.

She's quite a girly girl at times so I went with this mainly pink design and she loved it!

I made this label with my stampin up punch, cutting a second one in black and slicing it in half to extend behind the pink - I think its a nice effect.

Now my room is almost up and running, I will be posting more regularly so be sure to pop back soon.

LCI and Inspirational Card Sketches Challenge

This card is not for my mum, but was made for a friends mum. I am entering this into LCI Challenge for 'Spring Colours' and also into Inspirational Card Sketches as I followed their sketch as I had a bit of a mind blank!
I might use this sketch again as it's really versatile.

Less Is More Sweet Owl

This is my entry for the Less is More challenge blog week 5 - pastel colours. This card is for a friend at work. I have used some paper from the Sweet Owl pad which I absolutely adore! I was literally stroking it when I got it lol. My daughter thought I'd gone bonkers!

I used one of the glittered sheets which you can make out in the pic below and I cut the owl out from another one of the sheets and then added a single gem to the sentiment to finish off.

Thanks for popping by.

LCI Birthday Nikki

This card is one I made a week or two ago using one of my many Nikki stamps from LCI. I coloured with my Promarkers, layered up a few papers and added a few coloured pearls and a simpe sentiment and there you go!

Close up of Nikki's cute pup

Happy Nikki on her Birthday!

Unfortunately, this stamp is OUT OF STOCK at LCI at the moment.

On a personal note, I went to the flicks today with hubby n kids (15 n 12) and watched 'Just Go With It' - great film and VERY funny!! Well worth a watch. Also BAFTA have teamed up with Cineworld and are giving away free tickets to certain films over the next week. Click here to see if there is a participating Cineworld near you. We're off to see Toy Story 3 sunday evening - and for FREE!!! How cool is that?!

Card and a box

Evening bloggers!

I know I was going to try and post at least once a week, but my life doesn't always go to plan and I haven't had any time for crafting for a while :(((

Yesterday, however, I crafted all afternoon and well into the evening so I have a few things to show you all - but not all tonight!

I bought my friend Barbara a necklace and bracelet set for her birthday and decided to have a go at making a box for it. This is my first attempt at a box and I think it came out quite well (even if I do say so myself). Anyway, I made a co-ordinating card too and here they are:

All comments are greatly appreciated.

I got the bug slightly after this and made another box with some little cards so I'll post this later in the week.

Thanks for looking

More Birthday cards

Hi there, here are 2 more of the 10 mixed cards I made for a friend.

This 1st one is almost copied completely from a card in an old card magazine that I was flippin through. The stamps were free on the cover and I coloured them with Promarkers.

This 2nd one is quite simple again - I do love the more simple looking cards. This is an Anya stamp coloured with Promarkers. A little bit of ribbon from my stash and a couple of gems finish this card perfectly - I think so anyway!

Another 2 tomorrow. Thanks for buzzin by, Donna x

Birthday cards

These cards are for a friend who asked me to do a selection of 10, mainly female birthday cards. These are the first 2 and I'll post 2 a day over the next few days.

These cards are very simple and are both made with a pearlised blank card base with just a few little bits added and a sentiment stamped with Stazon ink.

I love the CAS style - I hope my friend does too!!
